LMD053 - FT 75 BS

The FT 75 BS was an attempt at up-gunning the basic FT tank. The main gun was a short range 75mm howitzer in a ball mount, placed inside of a large fixed superstructure. This new larger gun also increased the crew requirement to 3. World War One ended before any of these saw combat and the initial large order was cut so that only a handful were produced. Service life was only the interwar period where they were posted at various locations in French territory. The model itself is similar to the other FT models, but this one now has the option between the wood and steel style idler wheels.
